Pokémon Art Academy

Nintendo / 3DS

Pokémon Art Academy (Nintendo 3DS) is the fourth title in our successful Art Academy franchise. It breaks new ground for the series on several fronts: as the first Art Academy game to focus on a specific IP, the first to include digital-style drawing tools, and the first to introduce a storyline with additional characters. Your endearingly incompetent friend Lily (or Lee) will accompany you through the 40 lessons that will teach budding illustrators and Pokémon fans alike how to draw and paint Pokémon characters like a pro. The skills you will learn along the way will be transferable to real-life drawing on canvas or paper. If that's not enough, you can download free additional lessons, share your work with the world on Miiverse, and participate in regular drawing competitions run by Nintendo!

An excellent little sandbox for learning to draw your favourite Pokémon" - Official Nintendo Magazine UK

The House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut brings the spectacular gore-fest of Overkill to the Playstation 3 in blood-spattered High Definition, with added 3D support and Playstation Move compatibility. Besides the complete remastering of the original title, this edition adds two brand new scenarios (bringing the total to nine), new enemies and new weapons for the most intensive mutant-killing workout yet!

"We absolutely loved this zombie-splattering rail shooter when it first shuffled into existence on Wii in 2009 - and it's every bit as enjoyable on PS3 with added Move support." - Games Master UK

Overkill, the fifth title in the House of the Dead series, is a gloriously self-aware pulp-style take on the classic Sega light-gun shooters. Take the part of Agent G or his partner, the foul-mouthed bad-ass Agent Washington, as you investigate mysterious disappearances in small-town Louisiana and quickly become embroiled in a plot by a deranged crime lord to unleash a mutant horror upon the world. With gratuitous violence, dialogue and music straight out of exploitation Z-movies, this is one of Headstrong's most distinctive titles and proudly wore its Guinness Book of Records title for the most profanity in a single video game.

"Overkill is as unfettered an arcade shooter as you could possibly hope for. There're no fancy nods toward innovation, no attempts to convolute the action with genre-bending appropriations – it's simply, brilliantly about trigger-finger destruction." - IGN

Remember the self-referential, idiosyncratic humour and gentle racial stereotyping that used to characterise British games? Kuju has done us proud with BWii - Eurogamer

The first in the Battalion Wars series. A global conflict has reached a stalemate in the console version of the Game Boy Advance series Advance Wars. The evil Kaiser Vlad, seeking to take advantage of the standoff, has assembled an army of shock troops, forcing The Western Frontier and the Tundran Territories to ally and fight back. Battalion Wars is a real-time strategy game that lets you control teams of soldiers and vehicles and lead them through more than 20 missions, using a variety of weapons, vehicles and tactics.

"With tight control, mostly intuitive squad management, a wide assortment of soldier and vehicle types, great physics, and huge landscapes upon which epic wars wage, Battalion Wars is a blast." - IGN

Rabbids Rumble - Nintendo / Nintendo 3DS

In Rabbids Rumble, you can collect Rabbids and deploy them in combat with each other using their huge variety of unique and crazy abilities. Train your Rabbids to make them stronger, and test them in hilarious single- or multiplayer battles or a variety of single-player arenas. You can collect over a hundred Rabbids, each representing its own angle on classic Rabbids humour. Augmented reality mini-games will set them surging from your floor, flying around you or fighting on your kitchen table! StreetPass support allows you to share scores, gain training bonuses, and unlock new Rabbids and items by crossing paths with other players of the game.

Top Gun Hard Lock - 505 Games / XBOX 360, PS3

This adrenaline-fuelled, arcade-style flight combat game brings a modern twist to the legendary Top Gun brand. Set in the mid-2000s, the game pits you against rogue state air forces in the Persian Gulf as Lieutenant Lance "Spider" Webb. Fly a variety of aircraft ranging from the classic F-14 Tomcat of the original movie to the ultra-manoeuvrable, ultra-modern F-22 Raptor. The action is intense and the unique "Hard Lock" mechanic allows you to tailgate enemy aircraft, dodge missiles, and pull incredible air stunts from barrel rolls to Immelmann turns to pick off your opponents!

The lord of the rings: Aragorn's Quest - Warner Brothers / Wii

Take on the role of the legendary Strider as you embark on his greatest quest: his journey to Mordor as companion and defender of Frodo, the Ring-Bearer. In this tale, narrated retrospectively by Sam Gamgee (voiced by Sean Astin) to his children, you will re-enact all the iconic battles from The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, from Helm's Deep and the Pelennor Fields to the assault on Black Gates themselves. During intermissions you will also play as young Frodo Gamgee, exploring the comparatively idyllic setting of the Shire, playing games with your siblings, discovering snippets of lore, and participating in the fair. The beautifully realised environments stretch the capabilities of the Wii to evoke the true feel of the Middle-Earth setting.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice - Disney / Nintendo DS

Become The Sorcerer's Apprentice in the Nintendo DS game based on the blockbuster Disney/Bruckheimer summer 2010 film. Transport into a world filled with fantastical quests and magical combat as you fight alongside Balthazar Blake and the forces of good against the evil Morgana and her monsters bent on world domination. Join a fight thousands of years in the making as you become the ultimate Sorcerer’s Apprentice!

Reign of Fire - BAM! Entertainment / PlayStation 2

Fight for mankind as one of the many different human forces, with a huge arsenal of high-tech weaponry at your disposal, or take to the skies as a terrifying dragon and spread fear over the world, savaging the earth and destroying everything in your path, breathing fireballs and napalm. Either way you will witness reactive fire effects as flames spread and combust everything they touch. There are tons of missions, including the desecration of central London, military-style reconnaissance activities, third-person shootouts, and heroic fire fighting rescues.

Fire Blade - Midway / PlayStation 2, Xbox

In the cockpit of FireBlade there is one goal: use whatever means available to annihilate the terrorist cells flaming up around the globe. Battle through 18 Missions in 4 campaigns at the helm of the Carrier chopper or the Vendetta attack copter and unleash a barrage of hi-tech deadly weapons including Swarm Missiles, Sniper Cannons and Laser Guided Homing Missiles.
